Trehalvin is set in a wonderfully peaceful location and is absolutely beautiful, Cider Cottage is full of charm and our children loved their bedroom in the roof.

"We have had a great week in this very comfortable Lodge. It is perfectly located to visit both the South and North coasts.  We took the train to Plymouth from Liskeard and went to the Aquarium.  The Eden Project is less than one hour away and The Hall Walk around Fowey was another highlight. "We have had a truly wonderful week at Sam's Cabin, it is absolutely perfect for our little family.  From the welcome gifts ( that glass of wine and chocolate biscuit after the kids went to bed was heavenly).  The beautiful swimming pool, which was enjoyed despite the weather to the lush green grass in front of the cabin for our two year old to play.  

Sam's Cabin is ideally located, there is lots to do locally, we spent two days exploring Looe and Polperro (including a boat trip around Looe Island).  We also went further afield to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, Lands End, Healey's Ryder Farm and Perranporth.  We also loved The Eden Project.  Thank you Val and Pete for a wonderful week."

"We have loved our return visit to Trehalvin.  Having been so lucky with the weather we have been to a few lovely beaches, Looe, Millendreath (great beach cafe) and Polkerris and enjoyed eating at Sam's Cafe right on the beach.  We drove over to Port Isaac and Polperro was great."

"A fantastic two weeks staying at Smugglers Cottage.  We've been very lucky with the weather and a big thank you to Val and Peter for making us feel so welcome.  

Top Tips...Lantic Bay, a walk down to the beach but well worth it as far quieter than other beaches.  Poldrimouth bay, just beyond Fowey.  Again a little walk but a large shallow. Ove perfect for kids to swim and play and is beautiful.

Val suggested Sam's to eat out and we went to both Sam's in Fowey and Sam's on the Beach in Polkerris.  Both were fantastic but Sam's on the Beach is a beautiful place to eat.  We also enjoyed both Pendennis and Tintagel Castles. A great day was cycling from Bodmin to Padstow and back on The Camel Trail, twenty five miles and our six year old boy cycled it!  Had Rick Steins fish and chips."

"We have had a lovely week staying at Smugglers Cottage.  Lots of days in Looe enjoying meals out, (the Sea Kitchen is a particular favourite), the beach, the lovely little shops and crab fishing.  We all enjoyed the pool and the meadow, was great for the kids to make some new friends.  Thank you for the welcome treats and the provision of books, DVDs etc. Great for entertaining the kids.  Also loved two boat trips and mackerel fishing."

Adrenalin Quarry zip wire and karting were thoroughly enjoyed as was the Bank holiday steam rally at Morval. We went to the beach at Millendreath as it had a large free car park. "We have had a wonderful week at Trehalvin.  The weather was good so we have enjoyed the swimming pool, especially our boys.  We also had lovely day trips to Bodmin Moor, Lanhydrock, the aquarium in Plymouth, Fowey and of course The Eden Project.  Trehalvin is really a lovely hidden place in the countryside and from Daisy Lodge we had beautiful views.  The children enjoyed the playground in the big meadow in view of the Lodge.  Peter and Valerie thank you for your warm and personal welcome....and of course for the wine and cookies."

"We have had such a fabulous holiday here at Daisy Lodge and really, really don't want to leave!  The Lodge is perfectly designed to suit a family of four and contains everything needed.  It has been tastefully and thoughtfully furnished with quality products from the likes of John Lewis, Marks and Spencer and The White Company!  The freshly cut flowers, wine, milk and scrumptious dark chocolate ginger biscuits were a delightful touch upon arrival.  The spotlessly clean outdoor swimming pool is absolutely glorious and has been used by us endlessly all week in the Mediterranean heat and sunshine.  The meadow in front of the Lodge provides a sense of freedom and space which is always welcome.  For ourselves and our two young children this really has been a perfect place for us to spend our holiday.  We will, without any doubt, return.  A week just isn't enough time to fully explore this wonderful area.  Valerie and Peter thank you so, so much, please know that your hard work and dedication is very apparent.  Best wishes to the both of you. xxxx"

"Sam's Cabin is the perfect hideaway!  Upon arrival we were immediately transported to the most magical place.  Waking up to the beautiful view of the meadow is breathtaking.  The accommodation 'top notch", chic and modern.  The pool was the luxury that topped our week especially for my little daughter.  We enjoyed fun days out to Whitsand Bay, Looe beach and park, Polkerris, Fowey, but found it hard to pull ourselves away from the Cabin.  Thank you for being such warm, friendly hosts and for a wonderful week.  We shall Definitely be back."
